Overview
Frunkly is designed to let Tesla owners create Apple Shortcuts for their own vehicles. The app uses Tesla authorization to access vehicle data and send vehicle commands only after the owner grants permission.
Information Used
Frunkly may use Tesla account authorization tokens, vehicle identifiers, vehicle names, vehicle status, and command responses needed to operate the app.
Storage
Tesla authorization tokens are stored on-device in the iOS Keychain. Command debug logs are stored locally on the device to help diagnose command results.
Sharing
Frunkly does not sell personal information. Vehicle commands are sent to Tesla Fleet API and Frunkly's command-signing backend only as needed to perform user-requested actions.
Revoking Access
Users can revoke third-party access through Tesla account settings. Vehicle virtual keys can also be removed from the vehicle Locks screen.
